Help My Mum, Pamela Smyth Bronson, Get Back on the Road So She Can Keep Changing Lives

Sometimes, the people with the biggest hearts are the ones who never ask for anything for themselves.

Today, I'm asking on behalf of someone who never would.

My name is Jemini, and I have the incredible privilege of calling Pamela Smyth Bronson my mum.

To me, she is simply Mum. To so many others, she is hope, kindness, compassion, and love when they need it most.

My mum has dedicated her life to helping others. She has never looked at someone's circumstances, their past, or what they have to offer. She sees people for who they are and loves them without judgement. If someone is hungry, she feeds them. If someone is cold, she gives them clothes. If someone is frightened, hurting, or alone, she stands beside them. She is the kind of woman who would quite literally give you the clothes off her back if it meant you would be warm.

She volunteers with the night shelter, donates food to families in need, supports battered women and men, delivers clothing to those who have nothing, and quietly changes lives every single day. She does all of this while facing her own health challenges, never allowing her pain to become someone else's burden.

Her selfless spirit was recognised when she received the Community Hero Award in 2022, but no award could ever truly measure the difference she has made. The real reward has always been the smiles she brings, the hope she restores, and the lives she has touched.

If you've ever met my mum, you'll know she has one of the kindest souls you'll ever encounter. She doesn't just help people—she makes them feel seen, valued, and loved.

Now, she needs our help.

Her car has recently been written off, and without it she has lost so much more than transport. She has lost the ability to reach the people who depend on her. She can't easily deliver food, collect donations, take clothing to those in need, or be there for the people who call her when they have nowhere else to turn.

Watching someone who has spent her whole life serving others suddenly be unable to continue is heartbreaking.

I know if the situation were reversed, my mum would be the very first person to help. She wouldn't hesitate for a second.

So today, I'm asking if you would help me give something back to the woman who has given so much of herself to everyone else.
