My name is Naume Kizza, and I am writing on behalf of my mother, Mrs Jane Francis Katende, who has recently been diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma — a rare and aggressive form of cancer. This diagnosis has deeply impacted our family and placed us in an incredibly difficult and emotional season.

Our mum is the strongest, kindest, and most selfless person I know. She has spent her life giving to others, whether it was caring for family, supporting her community, or simply offering a warm smile and encouraging words when they were most needed. Seeing her in pain now, fighting for her life, is something I never imagined we would face.

Despite her bravery, the road ahead is filled with daunting medical expenses: from specialized treatments and surgeries to diagnostics and post-operative care. We are grateful that treatment is possible, but the financial burden is overwhelming.
