Help My Mum Get Life-Saving Surgery for Pancreatic Cancer

My mum is the strongest person I know. A single mother, she has spent her life taking care of others—raising me and my younger siblings with so much love, despite facing unimaginable hardships. Now, she is the one who needs help.

Just months ago, she was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. The NHS told us there was no hope, that surgery wasn’t an option, and that we should prepare for the worst. But they never even let her speak to a surgeon—they deemed her inoperable without giving her a real chance.

We refused to accept that. After searching for second opinions, we found Professor Markus Büchler, one of the world’s leading pancreatic surgeons at the Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon (link to Champalimaud website).
