A week ago, our lives changed when we found out that my mum has cancer. It’s a kind of cancer that affects the lymphatic system, and while it’s treatable, the road ahead is going to be incredibly tough emotionally, physically, and financially.

We’re a single-income family, and unfortunately, my mum doesn’t have health insurance. That means we have to pay for everything from doctor visits to tests, treatments, and medications completely out of pocket. The costs are already piling up, and it’s overwhelming.

My mum is one of the kindest, strongest people I know. She's always put everyone else before herself, and now it's my turn to be there for her. We're doing everything we can to stay hopeful and fight this together, but we need help.
