Help My Mother's Fight Against Cauda Equina Syndrome

Donation protected
Hey everyone,

I am starting a GoFund me to assist my mother with mounting medical bills due to a rapid onset of Cauda Equina Syndrome.

Definition: CES Syndrome is a condition that occurs when the bundle of nerves below the end of the spinal cord known as the Cauda Equina is damaged. Signs and symptoms include low back pain, pain that radiates down the leg, numbness around the anus, and loss of bowel or bladder control. Onset may be rapid (in which my mother's case it was).

My mother had emergency surgery performed September 3rd and has moved from the hospital where the surgery was performed to a rehabilitation center. While she has recovered from the initial surgery, she is struggling to regain function in her feet and lower legs as well as some other functions. Without certainty of outcome and with mounting medical bills and extended time off from work, we are asking for help.

My mother is working hard everyday in PT to gain at least partial function in her feet to at least be able to walk, but we know this may be a lengthy process.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to help then please share this link, cross your fingers, or send prayers for a speedy and successful recovery.

Thank you all!
