For years, my mother has worked at Essex County Public Health, dedicating herself to the well-being of our community. She has always been a role model for public health, inspiring those around her with her compassion, work ethic, and unwavering commitment to helping others. Her impact has reached far beyond our family, touching the lives of countless neighbors and friends.
She is the proud mother of two beautiful sons, Todd Bessette and Nathan Bessette, and the devoted wife of Todd Bessette Sr., her loving husband of over 40 years. My father is an Air Force and military veteran, a master carpenter, and a dairy farmer who has worked endlessly to provide a dream for our family. Together, my parents have faced obstacle after obstacle and always found a way to overcome them. They were about to retire, release all material items, and finally start traveling the world—living for the first time after 60 years.
