Financial help for Douglas family

On September 2nd, 2021 my father in law Steve Douglas passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. He was the sole provider for the household and left his wife Sheryl and son Jacob behind, without the financial means to keep up with the home mortgage, bills and every day expenses. My mother in law is the most selfless person, and definitely not one to ask for help, but we would like to ease her mind so she can get through this already tough time without extra worry. Anything will help and be very much appreciated.
