I’m trying to help raise some money to help my mother pay for costs associated with a funeral. Last week, over the holidays, someone very close to my mother died suddenly. This person had no one in their life besides my mother, leaving her to settle his affairs and pay for the funeral. My mother was already in a precarious financial situation, as she’s been unable to work for some time due to injuries she sustained on the job. Needless to say, the funeral is quite expensive, making an already unsteady financial situation even more tenuous. She has taken on the entire burden herself, paying for it all on credit. I recognize that this is a difficult time for a lot us, and our family’s prayers go out to all of you. That being said, if you could please spare something, we would be incredibly thankful.
