Help my mother grandmother Mrs Cox walk again

Please help our mother/ grandmother to walk again!!

 

Grandma has been recently diagnosed with Severe parapesis (grade1) secondary to a large thoracic tumour severely compressing the spinal cord intradurally. Unfortunately this has caused her to become paralysed from the waist down. We are asking for help to get a wife, mother and grandmother up and walking again. She went from a fully functioning wife caring for her sick husband to now being confined to a wheel chair with great discomfort.

 

Grandma is a Pilar to the community she was a loving and caring teacher and now serves the church as a Sunday school teacher, where she is greatly missed. Grandma is 74 years of age and currently resides in Jamaica.

The surgery will involve removing the tumour from her spinal cord using specialist doctors, this will need be to done as soon as possible
 to avoid permanent damage. 

 

The cost for this surgery is a substantial amount hence the reason we are asking for your help!! We would like to raise at least £20,000.00. This will help cover some of the costs towards surgery and after care.

 

Any amount given will be greatly appreciated and will be a step towards getting the help my grandmother needs.
