Help My Mom’s Metastatic Melanoma

A few weeks ago our lives changed for the worse. My mom was diagnosed with a brain tumour which was the first tumour the doctors found. It turns out she has aggressive metastatic (stage four) melanoma with tumours in her stomach, on her groin, on her spine and in her skull. She is currently doing 10 rounds of radiation each week day for 10 days. If she gets stronger she may be able to do dual immunotherapy for her best shot at extending her life and possibly slowing the cancer. If she continues to decline and isn’t able to try this option, the doctor gave her three months to live.

This is obviously a huge financial burden and will continue to be, that we would be so thankful if it can be alleviated so her husband, our dad, can take time off when needed, pay her bills, pay for the travel expenses for treatments and medications. As well as doing things she loves if she’s able to - like a family trip to Niagara Falls. We want to cherish every moment we have left without her having to worry about money.
