Help My Mom's Hospital Get Essential Supplies

Hey guys,
I’m reaching out to you for support to keep a hospital in my Mom’s town, Port-à-Piment, located in the southwestern part of Haiti, a very remote area of the country, running. They face imminent danger of being unable to serve the Port-à-Piment commune (or county) and surrounding areas due to lack of funding for qualified personnel. The need is $5,000.
The Hospital has operated for 12 years providing invaluable services not only to Port-à-Piment but also to six surrounding communes. The hospital is equipped with 21 beds and operates 24/7. They receive an average of 23,000 patients in consultations and more than 3,300 people in emergencies.
Port-a-Piment was one of the most affected by the 2016 Hurricane Matthew which destroyed over 90% of the properties in the county (including my Mom's). During the hurricane, the hospital treated over 500 trauma patients as well as 400 following a cholera outbreak resulting from the hurricane. Luckily my mom didn't need to be hospitalised but this could have easily been the case. With the ever-intensifying tropical storms rocking the Caribbean on an annual basis, it's a matter of when, not if this hospital will be called upon to deliver life-saving care en masse.
Currently, the hospital has a medical director, two physicians, a lab technician, one nurse and three nursing assistants. The two physicians, the nurse and one nurse aid are on contract. This number is largely insufficient to meet the hospital's needs. The hospital requires a minimum of four physicians, three nurses and three nurses aid, pending official nominations by the Government of eight doctors, ten nurses, six nurses aid and one administrative assistant to meet some of its responsibilities to the communities.
Our big ask is enough funding for the salaries the aforementioned professionals for a period of three months. This request is really just a cut above bare minimum to keep this hospital running and maintaining this under-served community’s (And my mom's) access to basic medical care. There is no donation too small and every little bit helps!
