Update - January 15, 2022:
Mom has finally come out of NYU Lancone Hospital!! Thank you God! My landlord is allowing her to stay in her place as she is in the first floor. Mom has little strength and cannot stand on her own or walk. After spending 10 days in ICU and 2 weeks in COVID infested floor we are now able to start her Rehab to normal life. It will be a hard time for her but we are very hopeful.
As promised, we will be returning back to Hungary as soon as her doctors give her the okay. At this time, we are both not working and desperately need funds for almost everything. Please help!

Update - January 9, 2022:
Happy New Year to everyone. A more happier and healthier year for all!!
Mom is still in NYU Lacone Luthern Hospital (5 weeks!) She came out of ICU 2 weeks ago and was moved from room to room on a COVID infested floor. On New Year's Eve she contracted COVID!!! My cousin and I were banned from visiting her for one week and mom was left to deal with this on her own. I am able to visit her now and trying to get her home again... We are trying to get her out of the hospital to a Rehab Center to strengthen her muscles and re-teach her how to stand, walk and do general things we all take for granted (like going to bathroom on her own)!!
My Mom's journey to health is quite an arduous trip that is ongoing. There has been a promise made to Mom that we will return home to Hungary if she recovers and returns back to us. I vow to God to follow through if she fights the fight and regains her health.
Please continue to help and spread the word. We need to cover medical costs, rehab costs, medicines that she will need for the next 9 months, etc. I thank all of you for your help and wish you Health and Happiness. I pray you never experience this with a loved one.

Hi, I am fundraising on behalf of my mother Erika to pay for her mounting hospital charges. This month she was suddenly hospitalized with a near fatal respiratory infection that has led to blood clots in her legs traveling to her lungs. She is on a respirator, in the NYU Lancone ICU and is continually being monitored. She is unable to walk!

In 2015 a car backed into her crushing her right leg, causing her considerable complications over the years. She soldiered on with great courage until this recent event occurred.
My MOM is a very Vivacious, loving and elegant woman who has raised my brother and I on her own. She is an exemplary role model for us, giving us the tools to survive.
We are hoping to raise money to help her and us meet the rising cost of her care.
Mom was the breadwinner and is now unable to work.
Your generous donation will be very much appreciated as we pray for her well being.
Thank you and send continuous prayers for her recovery.
