Help my mom get her Parkinson's Treatment

Hi, my name is Teymour, and I’m reaching out for help to support someone who means everything to me—my mother. Recently, our family’s world was turned upside down when my mom was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. For those who may not know much about Parkinson’s, it’s a challenging, unpredictable disease that affects movement, balance, and many other aspects of life. My mom, who has spent her entire life giving to others without expecting anything in return, now needs support.

My mother is one of the kindest, most selfless people I know. She has always gone out of her way to help others, even when she had very little herself. She’s been a devoted mother, raising me with love and strength, and for years she’s also been the primary caregiver for my grandmother. Despite facing her own health challenges, she has continued to put others first. Now, though, we’ve realized that this is a challenge we cannot face alone.

Our family has come together and pooled everything we can to help cover her medical bills, but we simply cannot meet the full cost of her care. My mom lives in Egypt, where access to quality Parkinson’s care is extremely limited, so we’ve been working with a specialist in Germany to ensure she gets the best treatment possible. However, we’ve been told that her next round of treatment needs to be paid in full by December 20th. We’re aiming to raise $14,000 to cover these expenses. Without this treatment, doctors have cautioned that my mom’s ability to perform daily tasks could be severely impacted within the next 1 to 2 years.

Reaching out for help is not easy for us, but we’re doing this for someone who has spent her life putting others first. We want to give her the best possible chance to live well with this disease, and any support you can offer—whether through a donation or simply sharing this page—would mean the world to us.

I am also a photographer, and any income I make from my photography will be directed toward helping my mother with her medical expenses. It’s my hope that I can also visit her as soon as possible to be there for her during this difficult time.
