Hi, my name is Cameron and I’m trying to raise money for my mom, who is currently unable to work due to P.O.T.S. (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), a condition which causes lightheadedness, fainting, rapid heartbeat, and can only be relieved by lying down.

Along with P.O.T.S., she’s currently being tested for possible M.S. (Multiple Sclerosis) and waiting on the results of an MRI due to some neurological symptoms such as difficultly walking, trouble with balance, tremors, and the inability to regulate internal body temperature. She’s already seen an ophthalmologist for visual changes and still has to see a cardiologist for a low heart rate and an endocrinologist for some adrenal abnormalities. Hopefully she’ll see a neurologist soon.

Due to these two conditions she is unable to currently work or drive, which has negatively impacted her quality of life, as well as her self confidence.

She has been a nurse for 23 years and has dedicated her life helping others, now she finds herself in the uncomfortable situation where she’s the one in need of help. Anyone that knows my mom knows that she is fiercely independent and has always been the main source of financial support for my sisters and myself. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
