Help my mom get her medicines for MS

My name is Ingeborg Paris Monagas. I am an American citizen, but I have spent most of my life in Venezuela, where my parents live. My mother's name is María Eugenia Monagas , she is 53 years old and had has a disease called Multiple Sclerosis for the past 14 years. In Venezuela, there is a humanitarian crisis, so for the last 5 years she has not received the medications she needs to stop her illness. In the same way, it has been impossible to perform the exams she requires to be able to determine the progress of her condition,  such as laboratory tests and magnetic resonance imagin and it has been a nearly impossible task for her to do the physiotherapy she needs in order to avoid her from being in bed for life. 

I come to you to ask for your help so that my mother can acquire the medicines she needs to prevent her disease from progressing and can get the exams and physical therapy she needs. She must use Natalizumab, that cost $2400 per month, Fampyra, clonazepam, Mirapex, Valproic Acid, as well as prednisolone, which are extremely expensive and in the situation that Venezuela has, it is impossible  to access to that treatment, exams and medication, with the salary my father receives as professor at full time of the university, which  is almost $5 per month.

That is why I come to you to ask for your help to obtain the funds my mother needs to prevent her disability from progressing, at least for 1 year.

Mi nombre es Ingeborg París Monagas. Soy ciudadana americana, pero pasé la mayor parte de mi vida en Venezuela, país donde viven mis padres. Mi madre se llama María Eugenia Monagas de París, tiene 53 años de edad y padece de una enfermedad llamada Esclerosis Múltiple desde hace 14 años. En Venezuela se está viviendo una crisis humanitaria por lo cual mi madre tiene 5 años sin recibir los medicamentos que requiere para frenar su enfermedad. De igual forma, le ha resultado imposible realizarse  los exámenes que necesita para poder determinar el avance de su padecimiento, tales como exámenes de laboratorio y resonancia magnética y le ha resultado sumamente difícil poder realizarse las fisioterapias que le son indispensables para no quedar en una cama de por vida. 

Acudo a ustedes para solicitar de su colaboración para que mi madre puede adquirir las medicinas que requiere para  evitar que su enfermedad avance y a su vez pueda realizarse los exámenes y la fisioterapia que necesita. Ella debe utilizar Natalizumab, que cuesta 2400$ al mes,  Fampyra, Clonazepam, Mirapex, Ácído Valpróico, así como subssinato sódico de metil prednisolona, los cuales son extremadamente costosos y en la situación que se encuentran Venezuela resulta imposible que, con el salario que percibe mi padre como profesor titular de la universidad, el cual es de aproximadamente $ 5 mensuales, puedan acceder a dicho tratamiento, exámenes y rehabilitación.

Es por esto que acudo a ustedes para pedir que me ayuden a obtener los fondos que mi madre necesita para evitar que su discapacidad siga progresando, al menos por 1 año
