Help my mom that is bedridden after Stroke

Help my Mother receive the help she needs after Severe Stroke.

Hello My Name is Taymee and I am reaching out on behalf of my ill mother. She is a mother of 6 kids and a devoted wife who has lived a very difficult life due to her Brain condition Called Hydrocephalus. From 2007 to 2021 she has undergone 6 different brain surgeries. In hopes that she will get the medical care her doctors promised her time and time again, it has only gotten worse and worse with each surgery. Her condition slowly decreased throughout the years, causing multiple seizures balance disorder, enlargement of head, irritability, leaking of urine, memory loss, mental confusion, or sleepiness. But In the beginning of 2021 her condition turned for the worst. She had suffered a stroke which has caused her to be Bedridden kinda of permanently. In the midst of everything I had my husbands family move my parents and younger brother on to his property and into a tiny one bedroom one bath in the back because the landlord increased their rent 500$ and they couldn’t afford it. Needless to say there is not enough space for them to live comfortably. If that wasn’t enough my father has abused his body and hurt himself because he has to pick up my mother clean her feed her and do everything for her. She weighs 250+ lbs and my dad probably weighs half that. My intention to come forward and ask for anyones help is because I have tried many different ways and resources to get the help my Mother and Father need. My father has been waiting for months on end for SSA to assist us. The Doctors and the government have failed us. For me to come out and ask for help is completely out of my character, I am usually one to handle things on my own. But I can’t sit back and watch my parents deteriorate any longer. Any donation or help will go towards having a nurse come and help out at least twice a week and also a more comfortable therapeutic bed, as well as get my mother into some physical therapy so she can hopefully walk again and be somewhat independent. Hola, mi nombre es Taymee y me comunico en nombre de mi madre enferma. Ella es madre de 6 hijos y una esposa devota que ha vivido una vida muy difícil debido a su condición cerebral llamada hidrocefalia. Desde 2007 hasta 2021 se ha sometido a 6 cirugías cerebrales diferentes. Con la esperanza de que reciba la atención médica que sus médicos le prometieron una y otra vez, solo ha empeorado con cada cirugía. Su condición disminuyó lentamente a lo largo de los años, causando múltiples convulsiones, trastornos del equilibrio, agrandamiento de la cabeza, irritabilidad, pérdida de orina, pérdida de memoria, confusión mental o somnolencia. Pero a principios de 2021 su condición empeoró. Había sufrido un derrame cerebral que la obligó a estar postrada en cama de forma permanente. En medio de todo, hice que la familia de mi esposo mudara a mis padres y a mi hermano menor a su propiedad y a una pequeña habitación y un baño en la parte de atrás porque el propietario aumentó su alquiler 500 $ y no podían pagarlo. No hace falta decir que no hay suficiente espacio para que vivan cómodamente. Si eso no fuera suficiente, mi padre ha abusado de su cuerpo y se ha hecho daño porque tiene que recoger a mi madre, limpiarla, alimentarla y hacer todo por ella. Ella pesa 250 libras y mi papá probablemente pesa la mitad. Mi intención de presentarme y pedir la ayuda de alguien es porque he probado muchas formas y recursos diferentes para obtener la ayuda que mi madre y mi padre necesitan. Mi padre ha estado esperando durante meses que la SSA nos ayude. Los Doctores y el gobierno nos han fallado. Para mí, salir y pedir ayuda está completamente fuera de mi carácter, generalmente soy alguien que maneja las cosas por mi cuenta. Pero no puedo sentarme y ver a mis padres deteriorarse por más tiempo. Cualquier donación o ayuda se destinará a que una enfermera venga y ayude al menos dos veces por semana y también a una cama terapéutica más cómoda, así como a llevar a mi madre a un poco de fisioterapia para que, con suerte, pueda volver a caminar y ser algo independiente.
