Help Our Mom Survive And Heal After Tragic Loss

In just 18 months, our mom has endured what no mother should ever have to face: losing two of her sons, Solomon and Tim, who were both only 39. 

Her oldest son, Solomon, passed away on January 1st, 2024 after years of struggling with addiction and the challenges that came with it. Now, less than 2 years later, her second son Tim—who battled lifelong severe mental health issues and addiction struggles—has also passed away.

Despite their lifelong hardships, our mom loved her boys fiercely and devoted herself to helping them in every way she could. Tim’s mental health struggles made it difficult for him to function and navigate living on his own. As a result this left our mom with the responsibility of being his caretaker, centering her life around his needs and accommodations. These devastating losses have left her emotionally and financially exhausted. She has poured her time, energy, and limited resources into caring for her sons, leaving her with almost nothing as she now faces the overwhelming costs of funeral arrangements, outstanding property taxes on our family’s land, rent and the daily costs of living.
