Early this morning, my mom and stepdad’s lives were turned upside down by a devastating house fire. In just a few hours, they lost everything they owned—car, clothes, cherished memories, and the comfort of their home. The shock and heartbreak have been overwhelming for our family, and it’s hard to put into words how much has changed so quickly. On top of losing their home, my stepdad suffered serious airway burns and is now in the hospital receiving treatment. His recovery will take time, and the medical bills are already starting to add up.

Right now, my mom and stepdad are facing the challenge of starting over from scratch. They need help to find a safe place to stay, replace basic necessities like clothing and food, and cover the costs of my stepdad’s medical care.
