My grandpa is very sick and likely at the end of his life. My mom hasn’t been able to be with him, and time is running out for her to say goodbye. We live several states away (1600 miles—a 24 hr drive). We don’t even know if all of us will be able to make it there in time, or even for the funeral. Everything feels really uncertain right now. I care so much about my mom, and she deserves to be with her dad. Watching her go through this from so far away has been really hard. I haven’t seen my grandpa in years and may not be able to go myself, but what matters most to me is making sure she can.

We are struggling to afford the cost of last-minute travel. Between health issues and finances, it feels overwhelming. We’re asking for help to get my mom to there as soon as possible.
