Many of you know my amazing single mother of five, a small business owner and true warrior. Sadly, at 68, she still works full time and is fully reliant on her car. She hand picks up and delivers dry cleaning 7 days a week. Abbie Halpern deserves your kindness and generosity.
Her Toyota Rav4, which she has had for over 20 years, has finally had its last day on the road.
She simply doesn't have the money to replace the car on her own. I truly hope the large community of Halpern friends are able to get her back on the road and able to continue running her business.
We have found some decent used cars which will cost approximately $9200, including registration.
This matter is very urgent. She needs a vehicle to make her living.
