Help my mom get her money back after being scammed

Donation protected
I'm setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my mom*. When the stay-at-home order was set into effect for out state, my mom lost her job. This was during the last week of March; since then my mom has been searching for jobs and we've both been living off of her Employment Security Department (ESD) checks for unemployment. On June 18th, my mom finally got a job offer. It was from a job listing on Indeed. They offered a stay-at-home job and a great pay, and most importantly it was for a company that has a great reputation and is focused on medical help/technology.  She's always wanted to make a positive difference in the world and do good, so she ecstatically accepted. Two weeks later, she realized she had been scammed. The scammers had asked for my mom's private information "to set up direct deposit" and told her to buy her home-office equipment. They told her to buy her home-office equipment through gift cards as, according to the scammers, "they got a discount on the equipment through the gift cards." By the time my mom realized it was scam, she had already lost $24,000. She's going through all of the leg work and is working with the banks to dispute the charges from the scam, but it's not going smoothly. The dispute isn't finalized yet, and one of the banks refuses to dispute the charges, resulting in a loss of at least $12,000. Also, now that she has filed for fraud, she cannot access her Employment Security Department account, so she also can't file a claim to get paid for being unemployed. Plus she has lost two weeks of pay from when she thought she was employed.
Since finding out about the scam, my mom has been getting hit repeatedly with a new curve ball every day, and has become increasingly depressed.  I'm becoming more and more worried about her every day. My mom is usually extremely resilient, I've seen her get back up time and time again from horrible situations, always bouncing back with a smile and positive attitude. But lately her mood has been shifting very quickly, and after talking with her it's become clear that she has lost faith and trust in humanity as she asks me questions like "What's the point of it all?" This is why I've set up this GoFundMe. I'm hoping to give my mom some peace of mind both money-wise by restoring at least the amount that was lost for sure, as well as restore her faith in humanity so her old smile can return.

*Out of respect for her privacy/wishes, I'm not including any pictures of her nor mentioning her name. As such, the person in the above photo is me.
