I am raising money for my mom. My mom has been dealing with chronic, debilitating, life altering pain for over 10 years after her foot surgery went badly. It’s been years of not understanding the depth of the situation, doctors didn’t know what was going on and I continued to watch my mom suffer and did not know how to help. The last 4 months her pain has reached an unbearable level and forced us all to dig deeper. That’s when we discovered the Spero Clinic. A few weeks ago she went to the clinic and was diagnosed with CRPS.

“Complex regional pain syndrome-CRPS—is one of the most painful conditions known, registering a staggering 42 out of 50 on the McGill pain scale. CRPS is not a short-term pain that will heal in time. In the United States, it is referred to as the "suicide disease" as it can lead sufferers to resort to suicide as the only means to escape the huge pain that they bear.”

The Spero Clinic (www.speroclinic.com) is the only clinic is the US that treats CRPS. She has been accepted to the 3 month intensive program specialized for her and plans to begin Dec 10th.
