My mom has always been my rock, supporting me through every challenge and loving me unconditionally. Recently, she suffered a spinal cord injury while sleeping in a chair. It’s hard to believe, but this happened after she had already survived a four-month coma in 2018 and 2019, which left her with metal in her spine. Over the past year, the spine above that metal began to collapse, and she slowly started to lose movement. She had surgery on the 13th, and while there are signs of healing, there’s still a real risk that she could be paralyzed from the waist down.

Insurance is only covering her care until April 7th. We’re hoping for an extension, but if that doesn’t happen, we’ll need to bring her home. My partner and I will do everything we can, but she’ll need more care than we can provide alone. That’s why I’m reaching out for help. The funds raised will go directly toward home care and bills, making sure my mom gets the support she needs to recover as much as possible and easing the financial strain on our family.
