Help My Mom, Naomi, Recover From a House Fire

I am reaching out to help my mom, Naomi, after experiencing a horrible tragedy. Yesterday (1/5/2025), the home she shares with her friend completely burned down from a fire with an unknown cause. The second story of their home collapsed, completely destroying the first floor and tragically taking the life of one of their dogs, Thor. Their other dog Bentley, was able to escape and was taken to the vet to make sure he's okay. This occurred when they left their home for only 20 minutes before receiving calls from their neighbors who saw the fire. Because they weren’t home, they were unable to retrieve their pets or belongings before the fire destroyed everything. Their home, as well as all of their belongings, are unsalvageable. This has been a incredibly traumatic experience especially with the tremendous grief of losing their dog.

My mom just recently moved in, and has lost all of her belongings in this devastating incident, including all of her clothes and other necessities. The money raised will go towards helping them find a place to live as quickly as possible and beginning to rebuild their life. I would greatly appreciate anything to help her get back on her feet and replace some of her things during this time. We are doing everything we can to ensure her and her friend recover and feel supported during this time.
