Hi everyone,

I’m creating this GoFundMe to support my mom, who recently underwent urgent, life-saving surgery. We are incredibly grateful that the surgery was successful and that she is now on the road to recovery. Unfortunately, the financial impact has been overwhelming.

My mom is the sole caregiver to my brother, who has significant disabilities and requires 24/7 supervision and care. For years, she has put her own health last to make sure he was safe and cared for. She delayed this surgery far longer than she should have because she didn’t have adequate support to step away from caregiving , until it became impossible to wait any longer.

Now that the surgery is over, my mom is facing over $5,000 in medical bills, on top of the ongoing costs of daily living. She is currently unable to work or fully resume caregiving duties while she heals, and recovery is expected to take several weeks.

This has been an emotionally and physically exhausting journey for her. She gives everything she has to care for others, and right now she truly needs support herself. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering her medical expenses and helping relieve some of the stress during this critical recovery period.
