Hi everyone,

My name is Toni and I never imagined I’d be writing this, but my family is going through one of the hardest moments of our lives. My mom recently had to undergo emergency surgery while she was out of the her home country Saint Lucia . It happened so suddenly one moment she was fine, and the next she was being rushed into surgery.

Because she’s in of Canada, outside her home country saint Lucia, her medical bills aren’t covered, and the costs have reached nearly $20,000. On top of that, she needs ongoing treatment and recovery care. We are doing everything we can, but it’s more than we can manage alone.

My mom is the most loving, selfless person I know. She has always been the one taking care of everyone else family, friends, even strangers never asking for anything in return. She’s the heart of our family, the person who holds everyone together. Seeing her in pain and not being able to take that pain away hurts in ways I cannot explain.

All I want is to make sure she gets the care she needs and can recover without the constant worry about money. Every single donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward her hospital bills and recovery costs.
