Help my Mom Rebuild her Design School for Women Empowerment

I'm reaching out to you today with an urgent plea to help my incredible Mom, Dessy. For the past six years, she has been bravely battling leukemia, a fight that has unfortunately exhausted our family's savings. Now, compounding this hardship, the devastating floods and heavy rains in Colombia last week have severely damaged the Fashion Design school that serves as her source of income and a supporting community for more than 30 women in vulnerable conditions.

Since I live in Portugal, this is my way to helping her from the distance and show my love and support. My Mom has been such a source of hope and strength in her community. She's truly dedicated her life to lifting others. This school isn't just about learning a skill; it's a lifeline for these women. It's a safe place where single moms, other cancer patients, and women from low-income backgrounds who are also dealing with mental health challenges can find education, support, and a real path forward.

She puts everything she has into teaching them valuable design skills, giving them the tools and the belief in themselves to build independence and start their businesses. It shows her incredible generosity and how much she believes in the power of community and helping each other rise.

The floods and heavy rains have severely impacted the school. We need support to fix the ceiling, restore the electricity, and replace some sewing machines to re-open the school.

The cost for construction repairs is € 3500 and replacing damaged equipment € 2500
