Update:
My mom now has just two weeks to move out of her home, making this need even more urgent. She is preparing to relocate from Southern California to Southern Oregon to be closer to family, but we have not yet reached our fundraising goal. Every bit of support, whether through donations or simply sharing this page, will help her secure housing, cover moving costs, and start rebuilding her life.
We are so grateful for everyone who has contributed so far. Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time.
Help My Mom Rebuild After Tragic Loss
My mom recently suffered an unimaginable loss. Her fiancé of 12 years passed away suddenly after a short illness. He was not only her partner in life but also the primary breadwinner in their household. His passing has left her facing not only emotional devastation but also significant financial challenges.
The house they shared was solely in his name, and with no will in place, my mom is now facing uncertainty about her living situation. To make things even harder, she has no family nearby. She is in California, far from her daughters, her mother, and the rest of her family.
She would like to move back to her hometown, where she can be surrounded by her family and begin the process of healing and rebuilding her life. This transition comes with many unexpected costs: moving expenses, securing housing, and covering immediate financial needs during this challenging time. Additionally, she is in urgent need of a reliable car to help her regain independence, find work, and navigate this next chapter of her life.
My mom is one of the kindest, most selfless people I know. She has always been there for others, and now she needs a little help herself. Every contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to her and help her start over with the support of her loved ones.
Thank you for taking the time to read her story and for any support you can offer, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page. ❤️
