Help My Mom Rebuild After LA Wildfires
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jason, I currently live in Northern California, but I grew up in Los Angeles.
On January 7th, my mom, Judy, lost her home in Altadena to the wildfires ravaging the LA area.
My family is so thankful that she is safe, and we’re also fortunate that she has relatives to stay with for now. We know it could’ve been much worse.
While my family has lost all of our physical possessions in the house, we still carry our memories:
I remember the joy my family felt when she was first able to buy this home, a dream of hers ever since she immigrated to America 25 years ago.
We loved celebrating birthdays in the dining room:
And impromptu photoshoots in the backyard:
And much more memories than can be listed here.
My mom has given so much to her SGV community, working as an ICU nurse and RN for most of her life, so I wanted to help her as much as possible.
We’re hopeful that insurance and FEMA funds will provide the bulk of recovery funds, but we would be so thankful for any bit of help we can get in the interim.
Your funds will go directly to providing essential items and helping her recovery.
I also encourage people to donate to broader charities, like the red cross, that provide on the ground support to people in even greater need.
Thank you so much for your consideration!
