Help My Mom Rebuild After Accident and Fraud

Greetings friends, family and anyone this message may reach. I started this fundraiser in hopes it may help my Mom, who is going through a very challenging situation.

Just last month, my Mom (Shirley Brown) was hospitalized after a head-on collision, which led to a broken sternum, ribs, and wrist. Unfortunately, she now has another massive and different hurdle: recovering from financial ruin. Yesterday, after a long, sobering conversation with her bank, we realized that she has fallen victim to fraud. Losing every bit of her savings. Savings that my late Father and Mother worked so very hard for, for over 50 years.

A scammer, who somehow gained control of her computer (and later her banking accounts, email, internet, etc), was able to make her believe he was from Microsoft and needed to settle a bill. Its a long story thats still unfolding, but they took everything. The bank is offering little help and no financial assistance (they told her to bank elsewhere at first!), the police and state attorney general's office can't offer much help (cybercrime), and we are on a very long road of investigations to see if we can recoup any losses. Right now, it’s not looking promising.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated. I'm afraid of what could happen if she is unable to keep up with her bills. She doesn’t have a car because of the recent accident, and will be receiving a lot of medical bills in the near future. She is the most generous, deserving person I know. And this was the only thing I could think of to possibly help her fast.
