Help my mom pay for life saving medical treatment

Hi, I’m Madisyn, and I’m writing this in behalf of my mother, Heather.

On November 11, my mother was rushed to the ER under the direction of her primary care physician. Platelets (the blood cells that help blood clot, to stop bleeding) are supposed to be between the 150,000 and 400,000 range. My mother had a platelet count of only 1,000.

After receiving treatment over the next several days to restore her platelet count to a safe level, My mom was diagnosed with TTP. TTP is an extremely rare blood disorder that can limit or block the flow of blood to the bodies organs, and of the 20% of TTP patients who do not survive, most of those are patients who did not receive treatment. Had my mother not received treatment for her condition, we likely would have lost her. 

Since treatment, Heather has incurred over $130,000 in medical bills, not including several more appointments that she will have to attend over the next several weeks. Approximately $100,000 of this has already been covered, but my mother needs additional assistance in covering the additional $30,000 in treatment costs.

My mother is not the type of person to ask for help when she needs it, but you have the means, me, my sister, and the rest of my family would be forever grateful for your monetary support.
