DOMESTIC VIOLENCE HAS A FACE

January 9th, I received message from a social worker at Harborview Medical Center that changed my whole world....My step dad beat my mom. She was intubated, having seizures, two brain bleeds that shifted her brain 7mm, a smashed nose into 5 pieces and a dislocated shoulder. My mom was taken for emergency brain surgery to evacuate the blood. She went to surgery to reconstruct her nose. There will be another to repair her tworn shoulder. Now awaiting a total shoulder replacement. My step dad is out on bail. For now my mom is safe with me. I'm asking for help to moving expenses for her and try to get her a safe new place. My family had no idea any of this was happening due to the constant covering my mom did for him. We are truly grateful for any help. Thank you.
