Help my mom, my little sister and me after losing our dad

Hi, my name is Saadhvi Sharma, I’m 20 years old, and I’m reaching out during the hardest time my family has ever faced.

A few weeks ago, my dad suffered a terrible fall that caused a traumatic brain injury. He was rushed to the ICU and spent 20 days on a ventilator as doctors fought to save his life. We prayed every day for a miracle, but tragically, he passed away. He was our world — a kind, hardworking man who supported our family completely. His loss has left us devastated and unsure of what comes next.

My mom, my 4-year-old sister, and I were fully dependent on him. My mom doesn't speak fluent English and never learned to drive, so she’s now facing overwhelming challenges, not only emotionally but practically and financially as well. I’m doing my best to step up — I’m actively looking for a job right now — but we need some help to get through this immediate crisis.

This GoFundMe is to help cover our basic living expenses: rent, groceries, utilities, transportation, and other essentials, just for the next few months while I find work and help my mom adjust. She’s heartbroken and scared, and I’m trying to be strong for her and my little sister, who still doesn’t fully understand why Dad isn’t coming home.
