Help My Mom Get the Surgery She Needs After a Devastating Accident

My name is Ideliza and most know me as SuperLiza, and I’m reaching out to the community for help during one of the most challenging times of my life. My mom, Maria Caceres, was in a terrible motorcycle/car accident while traveling in the Dominican Republic this past Thursday, February 13th, 2025. She was the passenger on a motorcycle when a speeding jeep struck them, causing her to suffer a fractured disc in her back. Thankfully, she is conscious and stable, but she needs urgent medical care, including open back surgery, to ensure she can heal and regain her quality of life.

My mom has always been an incredibly kind, humble, and strong woman. She has dedicated her life to taking care of others—whether that meant putting others' needs ahead of her own or going beyond her means to put food on the table for her kids. To know her is to love her, and the thought of her going through something so painful and life-altering breaks my heart.

As a family, we are doing everything we can to support her through this, but the cost of her surgery, medical expenses, and ongoing care is overwhelming. The situation is compounded by the fact that we are not in the Dominican Republic and are trying to figure out how to manage her treatment from afar. I’m asking for your help, especially my Real Estate community, to ensure my mom gets the medical attention she desperately needs, and we can get her on the road to recovery.
