Help My Mom in Her Fight for Health
Donation protected
UPDATE: Unfortunately, my mother, Kristyn Ginnings, passed away on April 7th, after her courageous battle with stage four liver cancer. She is now at peace, reunited with her brother Justin and our grandma Elaine, and on to the next step in her journey.
We are in the process of planning her memorial service and will share details soon on when and where we will be celebrating her life.
Thank you so much for all the love, support, and generous donations. The Ginnings family is deeply grateful.
My name is Shaylynn Ginnings, and I am reaching out to ask for support for my mother, Kristyn Ginnings.
Since March 17, 2025, my mom has been hospitalized after weeks of being in and out of the ER. When my parents arrived at the hospital that Monday, doctors discovered that her liver was severely enlarged, and a blood clot was blocking the portal vein. Given the urgency of her condition, they considered life-flighting her to either Reno, Nevada, or Salt Lake City, Utah. My parents made the difficult decision to drive to Reno that night, arriving at 4 AM, where she was immediately admitted.
Since then, doctors have performed an MRI, revealing a mass in her liver and another on her vertebrae. They drained fluid from her stomach for testing to determine if the masses are cancerous. Now, we are anxiously awaiting results and praying for good news.
Due to the complexity of her condition, my mom has since been life-flighted from Reno to Utah and is now at Huntsman Hospital, where she will undergo further testing to determine what is going on.
During this time, my dad has remained by her side and will not be returning to work until we have answers and a plan for her recovery. We humbly ask for any support you can offer—whether through donations, prayers, or simply sending love to my mom—every bit of kindness means the world to us during this difficult time.
We are deeply grateful for any help, no matter how big or small. Your love, kindness, and prayers mean the world to us as we navigate this uncertain and difficult time.
