Help my mom kick cancer! Again!

Donation protected
This is our mom Denise (short one in blue), she was recently diagnosed with Grade 3 Invasive Carcinoma of the breast. My sister and I, her daughters, are creating this fund for her so that she may receive the double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and assistance while she recovers. You should know mom is a work-a-holic who doesn't really know what the word “rest” means, so we would like to assure her that she can put her health first for the moment. The donations will help mom have peace of mind knowing that all she has to do is focus on recovery after the surgery and the rounds of chemo up ahead.
While we're no stranger to the nightmare of cancer, going through this process all over again is still as tough as the first. Knowing mom, she always assumes the worst when it comes to her health because of our family history. Our Apo, her mother, had breast cancer that spread to her lungs which is what ended up taking her from us at the age of just 66, and our auntie, her sister, was diagnosed with the same type of breast cancer 10 years ago at the same age mom is now.
After her first run-in with cancer in her uterus, we thought mom was in the clear and this doctor's appointment was just being precautionary. She even started eating healthier and exercising to maintain her health to live her life to the fullest. We thought she was perfectly healthy until the devastating results of the biopsy came in on December 6th, 2021.
If you have had the opportunity to know her, you know she dedicates all her time to loving her kids and enjoying the work she does; she’s always smiling and keeps the people around her laughing. No one thought it would hit her again, especially only 9 months after the first diagnosis.
The funds will be used to pay all the medical expenses and necessities for the duration of her treatment and her return to health. We all know healing can be a long and tedious process and this one is going to be difficult. Mom will be out of work until she's recovered so it's going to be hard keeping up with the bills. She's the only income in the household because her four children are currently attending school. As you can imagine the cost of everyday living can add up especially on top of extensive medical bills.
We got the notice in late January that her procedure would be on February 8th, 2022 due to how fast the invasive carcinoma grows so we haven't had much time to prepare. After receiving a phone call notifying her of the amount due before they could continue, mom cried not knowing how we could scavenge that much money in so little time.
We remembered how the community had helped us before and decided to reach out one more time. We could not believe the amount of love and support we received, we even reached over double our goal! There are no words for how grateful to everyone we were then and there are still no words to describe our gratitude now. So if there’s anything you can do to help it is greatly appreciated and we are beyond thankful for everything.

Please help us share our mom’s story; absolutely nothing goes unnoticed & everything counts, even a nice comment can help brighten our days. <3 God bless!
