Help My Mom Keep Her Dream Alive — Shree’s Crab Bucket Needs A/C
My name is Skylar, and I’m doing this for my mom.
She’s the heart and soul behind Shree’s Crab Bucket, a small, family-owned seafood spot in Savannah, GA that she built from scratch with nothing but faith, hustle, and a dream.
She works around the clock — cooking, cleaning, serving, and smiling — all to give our community good food and great energy. But right now, we’re facing a serious challenge: we have no air conditioning, the inside of the restaurant reaches over 100 degrees every single day, and it’s only the 3 of Us My Mom, Dad, and I, trying to make things work.
⸻
It’s getting harder and harder for us to work
With the heat rising it’s starting to affect our health, morale, and ability to keep the business going. My mom and her small team are sweating through full shifts with barely a break. We’ve tried every trick we can — fans, cold towels, early hours — but it’s not enough.
We need your help to keep this restaurant alive, and more importantly, to keep my mom safe.
⸻
What We’re Raising Money For
Every donation will go directly toward:
• A permanent air conditioning system for the restaurant
• Anything that will help improve ventilation and reduce the extreme heat inside
Even a small A/C unit would be a game changer right now.
⸻
Why This Means So Much
This restaurant isn’t just a job for my mom — it’s her passion. She puts everything into this place and never complains, even when it’s almost too hot to stand. She’s created a space where people can enjoy amazing food and feel like family.
All I want is to see her succeed and stay safe while doing what she loves.

How You Can Help
If you’ve ever been to Shree’s Crab Bucket, or just believe in supporting small family businesses that are pushing through tough times, I’m asking you to help however you can.
• Donate whatever you’re able
• Share this link with friends and family
• Spread the word and support the dream
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading this and helping me look out for my mom. She deserves the world, and I’m just trying to do my part to make sure she keeps going strong.
