Help my mom Katya’s battle against osteomyelitis

This is my mom, her name is Katya she is a special education teacher in California and was diagnosed with osteomyelitis in beginning December 2024 where it is a bacteria she got around the lower of her spinal area making it hard to walk for her as well in so much pain, we thought that after this scare it would’ve been the end of it but it wasn’t.

Recently this week she was taken back to the ER because of the pain she had to the point she couldn’t move now the doctors are concern and want her to do a biopsy and getting IV treated to fight the bacteria. We have tried to do with other antibiotics but they didn’t work unfortunately. She had several blood transfusions, has gone to the ICU, and lost her movement from her left leg

currently now she’s in a rehab hospital learning how to walk again and is currently under the process to get the IV antibiotic that she has to put on 3 times a day to fight this bacteria however the cost of it is at least $15k which is something my mom cannot afford my mom along with my

Mom doesn’t have EDD since she’s a public school teacher. My mom is a fighter and she has fought through thick and thin helping me and she fought to become an amazing teacher.

we would appreciate it if we’d get the help we need so she gets this treatment to heal from this bacteria and so she wouldn’t stress from the costs of this treatment thank you all so much!
