Help Us Support Our Mom in Her Fight Against Stage 4 Breast Cancer
In 2024, our lives changed forever when my mom Julie was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer.
My mom has always been the kind of person who takes care of everyone else. She worked in a hospital, dedicating her days to caring for patients with compassion and strength. Outside of work, she was full of life — always painting, doodling on any surface she could find, and writing the most beautiful, heartfelt letters. Creativity and kindness have always been at the center of who she is.
Since her diagnosis, she has undergone two surgeries and a full course of chemotherapy. We are now waiting to find out if she will need another surgery. The treatments have taken a heavy toll on her body and her spirit. Some days are especially hard — she needs help walking to the bathroom, changing bandages, taking injections, and even something as simple as holding a glass of water. Watching someone so vibrant struggle to hold a pen has been heartbreaking.
Beyond the physical battle, she is also fighting emotionally. She had struggled with depression before her diagnosis, and cancer has made her mental health challenges even more difficult. The mood swings and emotional weight of this journey have been overwhelming for her and for our family.
My husband and I (both in their twenties), left our jobs and home in the United States to move to Poland so we could care for her full-time during treatment. We manage her daily needs — groceries, errands, medical care, and constant support — because she deserves to be surrounded by love during this fight. But without her income and ours, we’ve been facing significant financial strain.
We are asking for help to cover:
• Medication and medical supplies
• Household bills and groceries
• Transportation to appointments
• Daily living expenses during this time
Any donation, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden so we can focus fully on her care and well-being. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page means just as much.
Our mom has spent her life caring for others. Now we are asking for help to care for her.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, love, and prayers. ❤️
