Help My Mom, Jonna, beat Stage 4 Cancer

My mom, Jonna, has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She will be receiving radiation treatment for a tumor on her brain, and then beginning chemo drug therapy. She will be unable to work through radiation at least, but has received leave without pay to maintain her health insurance. I am hoping to raise funds to cover her loss of income and attempt to afford medical costs.

If you’ve met my mom, you are surely aware of how difficult it is for her to ask for help. You’re also aware of her tenacity and boundless love. She raised not only my brother and I, but so many of our friends in hard times. The house was never too full, the pantry never too thin to take someone in. She’s the kind of person who spreads Milkweed seeds around the neighborhood and tosses out extra birdseed when it’s cold.

Any and all help is welcome in this time. My heart is shattered. My mom is in generally good spirits and is going to “fight tooth and nail” for remission. If you can donate snd lend her any ease in this time, I will be forever grateful.
