My mom, Jamie, is one of the strongest people I know. She has spent her life caring for others as a nurse. She is the kind of person who shows up for people when they are at their lowest.

Over the past year, her life has completely unraveled due to a series of legal and financial challenges that we never saw coming.

After a sudden separation, she lost access to shared property and was pulled into a legal situation that has spiraled far beyond what anyone expected. She has tried to handle everything the right way by hiring an attorney, going through mediation, and showing up to every hearing. Despite that, things have continued to go wrong.

Because of this, Jamie lost her ability to work in nursing, which was her career and main source of income. Since then, she has been forced to drain her savings just to survive.

Now she is facing something even more serious. She is completely out of money, dealing with ongoing health issues, and at real risk of losing stable housing.

I am doing everything I can to help her, but I cannot carry this alone.
