Hi friends!

My mom has been battling stage 4 cancer, and for the past three months she’s been in and out of the hospital. Right now, she’s living alone in Hungary, but she’s become so weak that she can no longer safely care for herself. She’s had several falls, and is now recovering from both a broken wrist and shoulder. She is not able to get out of bed much due to her constant falls.

Doctors say she only has a few months left, and my greatest hope is to make those months as comfortable, safe, and dignified as possible. Unfortunately, nursing home and hospice care in Hungary are very expensive, and we need to cover the admission fee and the first month’s payment at the same time—something me and my brother simply can’t afford on our own.

This is not easy for me to write. I’ve never asked for financial help before, I’ve always solved my struggles on my own, but I’ve decided I’m going to be vulnerable and reach out! Even the smallest contribution can make a meaningful difference in making sure my mom is cared for and surrounded by comfort in her final days.
