Help My Mom & Me Reclaim Our Home

Admittedly, it takes A LOT of courage to create this campaign for my Mother and me. We need your help. We are in a dire position of having to give up our home. The house I grew up in is currently uninhabitable. I have tried everything to get the funds needed to restore and make it wheelchair accessible with no success.
We were duped by the loan officer that was "helping us" only to learn that he was purposely delaying the loan process over an extended period of 8+ months; referring us to a contractor and HUD Inspector that all had their own plans for our home. It has been incredibly stressful relying on people claiming to help when I am the sole caregiver for my mother who lives with disabilities from Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.).
Fast forward to now, where we are in the exact same place we were pre-COVID, but with MORE pressure and deadlines: our landlord wants us to vacate the apartment we’re staying in, the City requires us to demolish our garage or risk a greater financial penalty, and we need to pay the outstanding property taxes to obtain loan eligibility. Faced with the current summer rain season, we have to act quickly so construction can begin. Without this GoFundMe campaign we cannot complete any of the requirements to secure the rehabilitation loan and keep our home.
Please, if you can donate anything you would be saving a daughter and disabled mother from absolute heart break. All donated funds will go towards demolition of the garage by a licensed contractor (as required by the City), all related fees/penalties, and the outstanding property taxes. In addition, funds would facilitate a new rehabilitation loan application process with a new loan officer (i.e., appraisals, HUD Inspector fees, etc.), interest payments once construction begins and any related moving & storage expenses.
