My mom was wrongfully convicted of a crime. She is an addict who wants to go to rehab, but she does not belong in jail. Right now, she is sitting in jail with none of her medications. She has had six grand mal seizures, one lasting sixteen minutes. She suffered a heart attack, and instead of taking her to the hospital, they put her in solitary. I have to get her out. She belongs in rehab, not in jail where she has no access to her medications. She has completely detoxed off all drugs, including methadone. She told me, "I cannot believe what these drugs have done to my body. They are poison. I'm never touching anything again. I just want to come home and be a mom again. I want to open a business, take care of Grandma, be with my dog, volunteer, and help others get sober. But most of all, I just want to be around my kids again." My family is devastated not being able to help her. Her bond is extremely high, and we need help to get her out. None of us have the kind of money needed. She signed a form to be approved for rehab, but the condition is that she gets bonded out.

A little background on my mom: I have the best mom in the world. She has always taken care of everyone around her. She has the kindest soul and loves animals and her fellow human. She always has a little dog following her, and her current dog is a mess without her. We all are. She is one of a kind, and she is my only mom. I've watched her care for others more than herself since I was a kid. She's always made sure we had everything we could ever want or need, and then some. I need her back. Please, please help us get our mom back. She does not belong in jail. We need her, and the world needs her. Thank you.
