On Christmas, Mariana, a 68-year-old grandmother, suffered a severe fall and fractured her ankle in three places. Doctors have warned that her foot must be surgically aligned as soon as possible. Without proper correction, she risks permanent damage and ongoing mobility problems. Right now, she is in constant pain.
Although she has Medicare, the wait time for surgery in the United States is too long for the seriousness of her injury. Delaying treatment could cause lasting complications. A qualified surgeon in Mexico can perform the procedure much sooner and at a lower cost.
Mariana plays a vital role in helping her daughter, a single mother, raise her two young children, ages 6 and 11. She wants nothing more than to heal and continue being there for her family.
We are raising $2600 to cover:
Surgery and hospital costs
Travel for treatment in Mexico
Post-surgery recovery needs
Any contribution, big or small, will help Mariana get back on her feet and out of pain. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this story with others. Thank you for your kindness and support.
