Help My Mom Get Life-Saving Mayo Clinic Care
Spende geschützt
Hi, my name is Stephen, and I’m raising funds for my amazing mother, who urgently needs life-saving care at Mayo Clinic. She’s survived more than most could ever imagine — breast cancer, heart failure, kidney failure, multiple strokes, and dangerous blood clots leading to her brain. Despite everything, she’s still here with us, fighting hard every single day.
But right now, we’re at a critical crossroads. Her doctors believe her best — and possibly only — hope is specialized care at Mayo Clinic, where experts can address the full picture of her health. Unfortunately, Mayo Clinic does not accept her insurance, and she cannot be seen without covering the full cost out-of-pocket.
My mom's current diagnoses include:
Breast cancer
Congestive heart failure
Kidney failure
Multiple strokes, causing clots in the artery leading to the right side of her brain
Severe narrowing of the left carotid artery with a clot that could break free at any time causing severe damage.
Mayo Clinic has reviewed her refferral and records, they are willing to help — but the estimated cost of evaluations, treatments, travel, and temporary housing adds up fast. We are asking for $25,000 to cover:
Initial evaluation and imaging
Any required treatment or surgical intervention
Travel and lodging during her stay
Prescriptions and follow-up care
She loves to play piano for her church on Sundays, knitting, quilting, and is the first person to help everyone in need. She really needs some help now but does not want to ask for assistance. Therefore I am here to ask for your help to help her as she has helped so many. She truely is a wonderful mother.
Please help us give her this chance. Any donation — no matter how small — brings us closer to securing the care she urgently needs. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page with your friends, community, or church can make a huge difference.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping us fight for her life.
With gratitude,
Stephen
