Help my mom get her inhaler!

Hi, my name is Naomi and I am trying to raise some money for my mom (she is actually my grandma but has raised me since I was 6 months old).

She is the most kind hearted, nurturing, loving, caring person I’ve ever known. She is in her mid 60s and has a few health problems.

The main one right now is pneumonia the drs say. She was just in the hospital for over 2 weeks on oxygen and just got discharged today. She still has a hard time breathing and isn’t better as she needs an inhaler.

Now the inhaler the drs want her to get is $200, and that’s just for ONE month. We obviously don’t know how long she will need one for but she definitely needs one. She isn’t able to get insurance of any kind and the other option she has costs $1000(crazy) upfront and that’s not even including the inhaler.

My mom is always on the move and they are just finally moving into their new place. She has been trying to paint the walls but can’t because of her pneumonia.

I really would like to help my parents so they can enjoy their new home without having to worry about mom’s medical bills.

Luckily we are in Canada but still crazy that an inhaler that would help my mom drastically costs $200, just for one month. That’s $2400 for a year. Absolutely insane.

Anyways. My mom really needs this and doesn’t know that I’m doing this because knowing her she wouldn’t want me to. My mom and poppa both never ever ask for help but will help everyone they can. This is the least I could do for them.
