Help My Mom Fulfill Her Dream of an Art Residency in France

 Hi everyone, My name is Grace, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping my incredibly talented mom, Sunny, achieve a dream she’s had for years—participating in a prestigious art residency in France from May to June of 2026.

 My mom is a passionate artist with a special gift for painting. Over the years, she’s poured her heart and soul into her craft, always striving to improve and expand her artistic horizons. This residency will give her the time, space, and inspiration she needs to take her work to the next level.

 The residency at Château D’Orquevaux, located in the stunning Champagne region of Ardenne, France, is an incredible opportunity. It’s an International Artists and Writers Residence, and it’s with great pride that my mom was selected for this program, chosen from an extremely competitive pool of applicants (with only a 20% acceptance rate from over 120 countries!). She’s also been awarded the prestigious Denis Diderot Grant, which has helped offset some of the costs. This residency will allow her to immerse herself in a creative community, learn from international artists, and work in a space that has inspired countless creatives throughout history.

 To make this dream a reality, we’ve set a fundraising goal of $4,500. This will cover the cost of the residency, travel, and more:

 • $1,045 covers the deposit to secure her spot

 • $2,237 covers her bedroom, studio space, and meals for the two weeks during the residency

 • The remainder will help cover her flight.

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help bring her closer to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
