My mom is the kindest woman I know. She’s always the first to think of others when they’re in need—whether it’s through prayer, financial support, or donations, she puts everyone else first. She’s funny, light-hearted, and fiercely protective of the people she loves. Her generosity has touched so many lives, and she’s even opened her home to people who needed a place to stay until they could get back on their feet.
Recently, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her bone marrow. She now needs ongoing chemo treatments, weekly blood transfusions, frequent blood draws, and sometimes hospitalization. Her hemoglobin and platelets are dangerously low, and living in a rural area means she often has to have medical supplies overnighted from Denver. The costs are overwhelming, especially since my parents don’t have insurance and make just enough to not qualify for most assistance programs.
My parents have always given so much to others, and now I’m asking for help for them. The treatments are extremely expensive, and every bit of support—no matter how big or small—will help my mom get the care she needs. If you’re unable to help financially, please send prayers or healing energy her way. My mom is the kindness this world needs, and your support would mean everything to us.
