Hello everyone, my name is Jody, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my amazing mom Teresa, who has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer. Watching her go through this has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. She’s in constant pain, emotionally exhausted, and now we’re facing the added stress of trying to keep up with everyday bills during the fight of her life. Not to mention, she just lost her mom (my grandma), on May 18, 2025, so this has not been a good year for her or our family.
Since her diagnosis, my mom has had to focus all her energy on managing pain and planning the next medical steps of her healing journey. She had to quit her job now due to being in so much pain, so the bills are starting to pile up—lot rent, mortgage, car payment & car insurance, utilities, groceries, transportation to appointments, & so on. We are doing everything we can, but it’s getting harder to stay afloat.
No one should have to worry about losing their home or being unable to buy groceries while fighting cancer. The stress is weighing heavily on her, and it’s making it even harder for her body to heal. She needs peace, rest, and support—not sleepless nights worrying about how to keep the lights on.
